Basically the scheme involves getting your contact details together so that information can be passed on quickly and efficiently.  Of course, in this day and age, it is necessary to get a Data Protection Act form completed by everyone who wishes to participate in the scheme, so this could take a little while.  It would be quite helpful, to have a contact in each area/development who would be willing to assist with this initial process and later, passing on information to those who do not have e-mail or internet access.  The information will be held by the scheme's area Secretary.  Additionally, there is another contact form that you can complete to give further details in case you need to be contacted urgently whilst you are away.  I would hold this information but completion of this form is by your own choice. 

Tina will also need a deputy to co-ordinate when she is away. (volunteers welcome)

There is, on the form, a section for a donation to help with the running costs of the scheme.  The suggested donation is €5 per household per year, although this is not compulsory.  However, if anyone feels that they wish to contribute more, that would be most welcome.  The scheme has a Treasurer and you will be issued with a receipt.  The donation will be collected at the same time as the completed form is returned. 

If every household in Limaria joins in with the scheme we might, just might, be able to nip the trouble in the bud. But we do need YOUR involvement. LIMARIA NEEDS YOU
